Yet again this year, we’re breaking up our signature event into a networking luncheon and a ladies’ night out! The luncheon will feature a diverse panel, and the evening will include shopping, a style show and more. Both events will have great resources focused on women in an approachable forum, providing opportunities to discover ways to care for ourselves and our loved ones. Each element included encourages women to feel comfortable being their authentic selves and have better access to available resources.
Best of the Best Gala
November 19, 2026 • Hilton Garden Inn SouthpointeThe Best of the Best Awards Gala celebrates the best businesses, organizations, people and more in southwestern Pennsylvania. The community nominates their favorite businesses in dozens of categories and then votes on the top five businesses. The top three vote-getters in each category are then recognized at an invite-only Gala-type awards ceremony hosted by the Observer-Reporter, along with an accompanying special section that celebrates the winners.
Holiday Market
December 12, 2026 • Downtown Washington Community PavilionWe’re so excited to bring you horse and carriage rides, train rides, food trucks, photos with Santa, an expanded kids’ area, and other upcoming surprises! Festivities begin at the Community Pavilion in downtown Washington until the start of the parade. The pavilion will be transformed into a winter wonderland packed full of shopping, food, children’s activities and live holiday entertainment.
